1
Stop
Experience a Gaelic Games session at a local Gaelic club called "Na Fianna", just 10 minutes bus journey from city centre. Our modern facility includes a dedicated visitor centre. Three public bus routes (number 4, 9 and 155) stop directly across the road.
Sessions start with an introduction which includes history of the games, their revered place in Irish life.
Following the engaging introduction, it's outside where you'll partake in gentle team building activities of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Handball. You’ll need flat footwear and a willingness to have fun. Casual clothing is preferable. Bring sporting attire if you'll get competitive. There is water, tea/coffee available. If you wish to use our on-site dressing rooms/showers, please bring your own towels/toiletries.
Interaction makes the event: our trainers are great; they are passionate about their beloved games and really interact with visitors. Depending on the group you most likely play mini-matches - all in good fun!
